Reconciliation Action Plan

Rapid Plumbing Group is committed to fostering a workplace culture that embraces diversity, promotes equal opportunities and respects the rights and contributions of all individuals, including Indigenous Australians. • Apply Indigenous procurement preferences and requirements in our tendering and contracting processes, supporting Indigenous economic empowerment.

Respect

1

Cultural Respect and Recognition

  • Promote a workplace culture that values Indigenous knowledges, languages and traditions, including Acknowledgement of Country and participation in cultural events and ceremonies.
  • Maintain policies and procedures that address cultural sensitivities and ensure Indigenous perspectives inform decisions affecting Indigenous stakeholders.
  • Provide opportunities for cross-cultural learning and dialogue that build empathy, understanding and mutual respect.
2

Equal Treatment and Inclusion

  • Embed equality, fairness and inclusivity across recruitment, performance management and workplace policies.
  • Ensure Indigenous employees have equitable access to advancement, training and professional development, and that barriers to participation are identified and removed.
  • Maintain clear mechanisms for reporting and addressing discrimination, harassment or unfair treatment, supporting a safe workplace for everyone.

Governance

1

RAP Governance Structure

  • Maintain a dedicated RAP Steering Committee of senior leaders, Indigenous representatives and relevant stakeholders to oversee implementation and monitoring.
  • Operate a clear governance framework with defined roles, responsibilities and reporting mechanisms to ensure accountability and transparency.
  • Review progress against RAP targets regularly, with feedback from employees, Indigenous stakeholders and external partners.
2

Compliance and Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure RAP commitments align with relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards, reviewing policies regularly against best practice in reconciliation.
  • Conduct regular audits and evaluations of RAP activities and outcomes, identifying improvements and implementing corrective actions.
  • Foster continuous learning and innovation, encouraging employees to contribute ideas that strengthen Indigenous engagement and empowerment.

By embracing the principles of relationships, opportunity, respect and governance set out in this Reconciliation Action Plan, Rapid Plumbing Group reaffirms its commitment to reconciliation and to working collaboratively with Indigenous Australians to build a fairer, more inclusive society for all.
